Start Working Out

Today paksa diri buat small workout. Kejap je dalam 15 minit. Tak nak paksa diri buat berat2 dulu. Takut nanti kalau rasa susah dan terlalu penat, tak nak buat lagi pulak. Since for bulan puasa ni rasa susah lebih sikit nak exercise kat luar, maka just buat dalam rumah sahaja. I guna this “Home Workout” app.

Moga sis kekal semangat dan istiqamah haha.

Lepas ni nak kemas2 rumah. Kemas rumah ni pun best dan some sort of workout juga haha.

Mental Health talk at workplace

Was watching this earlier, and suddenly mengalir air mata. Really hit me hard. Sangat agree bila dia kata, we usually don’t approach things sooner. Dan bila kita sedar, it’s already too late, bila kita dah tak boleh cope lagi.

Manager and colleagues pun patut main peranan penting, have more empathy and be more caring. Kerja memang sentiasa banyak. Bila down, memang semua jadi extra harder. Allah je tau. Tapi bila kita rasa happier, benda tu senang nak dilalui. So, patutnya among colleagues, jaga dan tanya lah well being masing2. Tak semua ada keluarga dan sahabat terdekat untuk berpaut.

I pray no one would go through what I did. Moga kalian semua dilindungi dan dipermudah urusan. Amin…

Now walaupun not yet fully recovered and bukan vaksin specific untuk omicron, I think better ambil je lah. Nak-nak bila tengok kes makin mencanak naik ni. Ngeri lah… better safe than sorry kan. Wallahua’lam. moga tak ada apa-apa complications yang teruk, aminnn…

p/s: Subhanallah, cantik langit itu.

Dia Cucuk Tang Situ… Dia Cucuk Tang Sini…

Sebab my condition last Tuesday jadi agak teruk semula, I am admitted to hospital. First time. Takut dan sangat risau Allah je yang tahu

Masa di emergency, sementara tunggu admitted dan swab test result, diorang dah cucuk untuk drip tu. Cucuk kata tepi tangan kanan. Sakit nya ya Allah. I pula memang jenis tak tahan sakit. Then after a while dia makin lama makin sakit.

So, nurse tu buka dan cucuk kat tengah tangan kiri pula. Masa masukkan ubat tu still sakit. Perit sangat. Nurse kata maybe sebab my urat sensitif. Tahan aje lah sakit kan, nak buat macam mana. Nurse dah cairkan ubat pun still sakit, tapi a bit kurang.

Setting up Appointment dengan Specialist

Last week, bila bangun dengan keadaan panik kerana sakit dah makin teruk, tambahan klinik dan farmasi berdekatan tak ada stok ubat, I was advised to jumpa doktor pakar terus (Memang kena marah pun dengan doktor pakar sebab keadaan dah sangat teruk). But alhamdulillah dapat juga setup appointment dan jumpa specialist on the same day. So what are the steps, kalau anda covered by insurance:

  1. Of course, make sure your insurance cover cost jumpa specialist dan hospital berkenaan.
  2. Call untuk buat appointment dengan klinik pakar. Get the doctor name. In my case, alhamdulillah ada waktu walk-in, so I just use that time.
  3. Minta ‘Referral Letter’ dari doktor klinik berdekatan. Mereka akan minta confirm if you already made an appointment. In my case, they gave me 1 hard copy of the referral letter, and they also uploaded a copy to the insurance system.
  4. Untuk make sure you don’t need to pay beforehand, and let the insurance cover terus your visit and medication dengan klinik pakar, make sure to request for ‘Guarantee Letter’. Luckily my insurance app made it easy for me. I just had to follow some steps – like fill in appointment date, clinic that referred me, specialist clinic, specialist name, and attach the referral letter. This one ambil masa sikit untuk diproses – can be within 30 minutes and up to 1 hour untuk di proses.

Thankfully my office HR sangat helpful dan the insurance app juga sangat memudahkan urusan, kalau compared to dulu. Waktu panik 10:00 pagi, waktu jumpa doktor pakar 1:00 tengahari.

My Diet untuk Sembuh dari Fungal Infection + Eczema

Selain dari disiplinkan diri untuk makan ubat dan apply ointments as instructed, pemilihan makanan pun sangat penting untuk bantu penyembuhan. The eczema triggered yang jadikan this sakit more complicated and harder to heal. But insyaAllah.. moga dengan usaha, doa dan tawakkal, I will heal as soon as possible.

These are the menu and meals I had so far;

  • Kari ikan
  • Nasi goreng vegetarian
  • Mi goreng vegetarian
  • Ikan goreng
  • Sayur
  • Buah-buahan
  • Grilled salmon
  • Honey + cranberries juice
  • Honey + jasmine tea
  • Yogurt
  • Tuna sandwich

I did some readings and also advised from some people to avoid these food;

  • Makanan manis
  • Pastries
  • Coklat
  • Ayam
  • Telur
  • Dairies
  • Fast food
  • Junk food snacks
  • Corn
  • Maggi atau food yang ada MSG, perasa tiruan
  • Udang, sotong, ikan bilis.. etc
  • Peanuts

Bila Sakit…

Lepas satu.. satu sakit yang datang sejak beberapa bulan ni. Dan sekarang dalam masa yang sama, I suffer infection + eczema dan sakit gigi. And the first one memang agak teruk, sampai doktor nasihatkan for me to be warded. But… I tak nak. Jadi doktor bagi peluang I rest and buat self-treatment kat rumah over the weekend. Kalau by Isnin keadaan tak bertambah baik, dan I still can’t walk properly, doktor minta I datang hospital so I can be treated kat wad. I was given 1 week MC so I can rest properly dan recover.

Semalam memang teruk sakit. Ubat tahan sakit memang tak jalan langsung, asyik terjaga tidur sebab sakit dan perit sangat sakit. Dan agaknya sebab I already took too many meds for the past months, ubat tahan sakit ni langsung tak buat I ngantuk, dan I masih rasa sakit. Then, rabu depan ada appointment booster shot pulak. Nak kena hadap sakit tu pula lepas ni… subhanallah.

My covid vaccination updates

Alhamdulillah I finally received an appointment after months of waiting. By the time I posted this, the daily case for Malaysia already hit 13k cases! Scary!

17 Jul 12:00 AM: Esoknya nak vaccine, sekali malam sebelumnya period lah pulak. Sobs. Risau lah nanti berlipat kali ganda sakitnya – period pain lagi, vaccine effect lagi. Ya Allah, moga dipermudahkan urusan ku.

17 Jul 05:30 PM: Reached MITEC PPV. Alhamdulillah tak sesak. Ada baca kata nak masuk sini sesak, but so far OK. Kereta kat parking banyak, walaupun slow sikit tapi bergerak. Parking pun senang dan banyak space Alhamdulillah. Cuma bila tengok dekat entrance ramainya manusia. Nervous kejap – 1 sebab sekarang ni kan pandemik dengan recently ada outbreak dekat PPV Shah Alam, then 2 sebab lama sangat duduk rumah and lama tak tengok manusia ramai-ramai, hahahahah.

Surgery Application Through Insurance

Just to share my experience. As maybe this post can help others, especially those who never tried to claim through company’s insurance for surgery.

Main thing you need to get to ensure that you don’t have to pay, and the insurance will pay instead. Anyway here are the main steps;

  1. Check with the insurance and HR, just to confirm if the insurance will cover your case.

  2. Go to local clinic to get the referral letter, to see the specialist.

  3. To get the guarantee letter, first you need to fax or email the referral letter to your insurance company.

Make sure you also provide the important details such as – your name, your contact, the clinic & doctor that you went to get the referral letter, and also the specialist clinic & hospital you ‪are going to visit. It is still OK if you do not know which specialist, as the insurance can help to find and assign it for you.

  4. Go see the specialist, so they can check and diagnose your condition.

The specialist clinic will generate the reports and details for the hospital to proceed with your surgery registration. From my experience, the hospital will help in submitting application for the surgery’s guarantee letter.

Note: Each process or visit needs a different guarantee letter. Example: you will need one GL for specialist visit, another one different GL for surgery, another one different GL for any follow-ups with the specialist… etc.

  5. Make sure your guarantee letter has been approved before proceeding with the surgery. Else, the hospital will easily request for hundreds of ringgit for admission fees.

If there is some problem arises, or your request for guarantee letter is being rejected, please contact your agent or HR representative to help you talk to the insurance’s representative.

All the best! :)
